Rail Kits for Stairs & Walkway

The design should give you an easy to install, "plug-n-play" railing system that requires minimal cutting and modification.  (As always, you must apply on-site means & methods practice for proper installation.  See our means & methods disclaimer.)  

System Required:
1) CRHR (handrail for stairs) 
2) CRFR (flat railing)
3) CRPT-180ACon
4) CRPT-180FCon (if required)

This system will give you a height of just shy of 40" for the flat/horizontal walkway sections and 36" tall for the stairs section.

Connecting the top rail should be easy.  

  1. Assuming you have already installed the stairs railing (CRHR series), remove the end caps (if end caps were previously installed)
  2. Add the adjustable top rail connector (CRPT-180ACon)
  3. Install the flat railing (CRFR series) and if joining multiple flat railing sections are required for walkway, use the fixed top rail connector (CRPT-180FCon)
